Thoughtfully paced trail time for movement, sniffing and exploration. Begin with an introductory hike so we can understand your dog’s comfort, motivations and readiness. Small compatible groups are introduced gradually.

Outdoor sessions at our two-acre lakeside retreat in Franklin County, Missouri. Explore scent games, retrieving, recall, calm observation and voluntary water confidence in a natural setting.
A place to return to, together.
Four reserved visits each month to slow down and spend time with your dog by the lake. Each visit is a hosted two-hour window, with your human–dog team together throughout. Reservations required. Training is available separately.
Start your story around the same fire.
Small classes for humans and their new puppies, with sheltered lakeside gathering spaces and campfire conversations. Learn about routines, confidence, gentle handling and age-appropriate exposure. Four weekly sessions, with a thoughtful health and sanitation plan.

A slower, scent-led alternative to a traditional walk. Explore at your dog’s pace and learn how to recognize curiosity, comfort and the need for a pause. Available as part of an individual adventure plan.
Build the skills that open the trail.
Bridge private lessons and outdoor experiences with guided practice in check-ins, loose-leash movement, recall and rest. We help you and your dog find confidence together before progressing to more demanding outings.

Optional one-time Embark testing at our actual discounted cost, with no markup. We use ancestry as one piece of a larger picture alongside observed behavior, health and experience. Existing DNA results are welcome.
